About Us

Our Mission

Teranga Global Bridge develops lasting solutions for the protection, education and empowerment of vulnerable children, youth, women and families in Africa, particularly in Senegal. We build institutional bridges between multiple U.S. and African states and mobilize the African diaspora across the United States and, over time, throughout the world, in the spirit of Teranga.

Why “Teranga”?

Teranga is the Senegalese spirit of hospitality, generosity, solidarity, dignity, and openness to others. It is at the heart of everything we do. Our ambition is to carry this value across borders, from Africa to its diaspora, in the United States and beyond.
